This book is dedicated to the remarkable artist Eduard Steinberg (1937-2012). Materials collected in it (essays, letters, interviews of the artist himself, letters to him parents, friends and colleagues on the shop floor, memories, etc.), not only give an opportunity to present a bright, multifaceted, peculiar personality, which involved in his orbit many cultural figures around the world, but also reflect the atmosphere of time, features and contradictions of the second half of the 20th century.
