The Russian language manual as a family guide for children aged 10 to 13 includes specially adapted texts for reading and subsequent discussion on topics close to children in all countries. The manual uses works of both classics of Russian literature and contemporary writers. The main grammatical categories and some spelling rules are presented. Grammar in the manual is introduced segmentally, often within the framework of the text studied. The tasks are formulated to teach children to self-generalize and organize the information they intuitively possess. The manual can be used in schools where Russian is part of the program, in optional classes and in individual work.
