"Deaf time of samizdat" is a reminder of the recent totalitarian past of our state. Fragments of the history of the Soviet Union are shown through samizdat materials, which were reprinted and distributed by the author further. The book is very personal, it well reflects the typical for the intelligentsia hidden resistance to the restriction of human rights, and with the advent of perestroika - attempts to actively participate in the public life of the country.
