Rossiia. Put' istiny. Gogol' N.V. - Gogol' Nikolai Vasil'evich

Many people know Nikolai Gogol as a great Russian writer. But not many people know his philosophical and journalistic prose, where he talks about the way of Russia, its history, culture, people, faith. Some of the works in this book caused heated debate during the author's lifetime, and although many years have passed, they still provide food for the mind. Infrequently published philosophical and journalistic works will not only show the new side of Gogol-writer, but also will open Gogol-philosopher. The collection is supplemented by correspondence of the writer with contemporaries and part of D.S. Merezhkovsky's "Gogol. Creativity, life and religion."
