Maxim Gorky (1868-1936) was one of the key figures of the literary turn of the 19th and 20th centuries and Soviet literature, writer, publicist and public figure. The founder of the method of socialist realism. The first of his stories Gorky, obsessed with the dream of "other people", introduced into Russian literature the image of a semi-real, semi-imaginary noble barefoot, who by 1902 mutated into the inhabitant of the shelter.
