Bodkhichar'iavatara. Put' bodkhisattvy - Shantideva

"The Bodhisattva Way" (Bodhicharyavataru), a prominent classic work by Mahayana, is deeply revered by Buddhists of all traditions. Shantideva's writing embodies the highest image of compassion and reveals the ways of achieving it.
This version of the text is based on a new translation from the Tibetan to the English translation group Padmakara, based on the comments of nyingm Kunzang Pelden, a teacher of the tradition.
This edition, in addition to the full translation of Bodhicharyavatara, includes prefaces by E.S. Dalai Lama, translators in English and Russian, introductions and annexes taken from Kunzang Pelden's commentary "The Nectar of Manjushri's Speech".
The new version of the ageless classics of Ancient India is timed to coincide with the 125th anniversary of the appearance of the Sanskrit version of this work in Russia.
