Our urban life, being in dynamic development, creates a situation of constant renewal: in the struggle between the past and the present, the future is born. Modernity includes outwardly opposite impulses: fluidity, spontaneity, revolutionaryism, craving for collectivism - and fetishism, a penchant for individualism, reclusiveness, the perception of the "underground man." Boiling in this cauldron of contradictions, we may be deeply unhappy, but we will never be bored. This is the attitude of the inhabitants of megametropolises, to which belongs to modern Moscow.
