In the monograph on the basis of authentic ego-documents reconstructs the life of the party journalist Mikhail Danilkin, who belonged to the first Soviet generation Recreated his genealogy, images of post-war reality, ideas about Soviet and anti-Soviet, about threats to socialism from within. The supporting structure of his painting of the world was the figure of Stalin.
