On June 30, 1908, at 7:14 a.m. Krasnoyarsk time, the sky over Podkamenna Tunguska suddenly lit up with an unusually bright glow. Versions of what happened contradicted each other (from the description of events to the direction of the fall of the celestial body), making the riddle even more confusing, turning it from cosmic to detective.
