The book is the publication of the full collection of works by Kiev Metropolitan Nikifor, the first platonic on Russian soil. It includes previously unpublished lists, which are reproduced both phototypically and by the method of computer dialing in the original language with the preservation of the features of the ancient Russian spelling, given their translation into modern Russian with detailed comments of a philosophical and religious nature. The study reconstructs the creative biography of Nikifor, comprehensively analyzes various aspects of the religious-philosophical work of the Metropolitan, considered in the context of the spiritual life of Russia of that era, its influence on contemporaries.
