The collection includes sixty folk Japanese and Bengali fairy tales, which allow the reader to immerse himself in the magical atmosphere of enchanting Asia. These fairy tales are a kind of concentrate of folk wisdom and humor, in them good conquers the evil forces of spirits and insidiousness of people. The book is decorated with beautiful illustrations by the English artist Warwick Goble, who lived and created at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. After graduating from the Westminster School of Art, he specialized in Indian and Japanese subjects.
