Even without reading this novel, you've probably heard of Jane Eyre. Chances are you've seen a movie based on this novel. I must say that there are a lot of adaptations of "Jane Eyre" one of them - with Charlotte Gainsbourg in the title role (directed by Franco Dsefirelli).
