From Vladimir Nabokov to Nikolai Glazkov - such is the range of the fifth volume of the anthology "The Poet in Russia - more than a poet. Ten centuries of Russian poetry." This volume represents more than 70 poets born between 1899 and 1919. The revolution divided them into those who remained in their homeland and those who emigrated. These two branches of Russian poetry are connected in the volume. Along with poets inseparable from their country - Mikhail Isakovsky, Vladimir Lugovsky, Mikhail Svetlov, Sergei Markov, Arseniy Tarkovsky, Yuri Dombrovsky, Ksenia Nekrasova, Sergei Mikhalkov, Nikolai Tryapkin - here are collected poets, Russian abroad: Vladimir Nabokov, Nina Berberova, Wanderer (Dmitry Shakhovskaya), Boris Poplavsky, Igor Chinnov, Valery Pereleshyn, Ivan Yelagin. The author and compiler of the anthology Yevgeny Yevtushenko precedes each poem with his articles and dedicates his poem to each poet. The edition is illustrated by works by famous artists as well as poets themselves.
