The publication, based on documentary sources of the foundations of the United Museum of Writers of the Urals, contains letters by Pavel Bazhov, written by him from 1911 to 1950. Unique materials allow us to take a fresh look at Bazhov's multifaceted nature in the living context of time and place, to significantly enrich the textbook ideas about the author of the "Malachi casket". A large part of the texts are published for the first time.
