The world has traditionally known Korea as the "Country of Morning Freshness." The country is surprisingly picturesque, inhabited by friendly people who worship nature and keep the traditions of ancient culture. Today, South Korea is referred to as the "Asian Tiger." The Korean spring, which was under long-standing pressure - first isolation from the outside world, and then foreign occupation - straightened. Impoverished and war-ravaged in the early 1950s, South Korea has become a highly developed prosperous state within a generation, with a gross national product per capita growing 179 times in 54 years (from 1961 to 2015). This book is not a traditional memoir of the diplomat G.A. Ivashentsov about the service and the Foreign Ministry routine. This is the story of a Russian man about his personal vision of the Republic of Korea - a close Far Eastern neighbor of Russia, with which our state has many common affairs.
