The academic translation of the Koran is the result of many years of m.-N. work. O. Osmanov - a prominent Russian literary critic, textologist, orientalist and lexicographer. The translation is based on the most authoritative Islamic comments and received approval at the highest level - in 2003 for the publication of 'Koran: Academic Translation and Commentary' M.-N. Osmanov was awarded the title of the winner of the State Prize of the Russian Federation.
