Ukraina i politika Antanty - Margolin A.D.

Arnold Margolin lived and acted in an era of terrible and irreversible change. The accession of the Bolsheviks was marked by the complete abolition of the freedom of the oral and printed word, the abolition of all kinds of free human communication and movement. The destruction of transport, postal and telegraph communications has left the vast majority of the country's population divided and cut off from the rest of the world. Uncontrolled atamans in Ukraine appealed to the dark instincts of the bottom. Margolin tried his best to prevent the bacchanalia of pogroms. The Petlurgovernment government clearly did not control the situation on the ground, the French turned a blind eye to the outrages. Being a living eyewitness of the Jewish pogroms, Margolin nevertheless, being a true patriot, acted in Europe as a lawyer of Ukraine. However, hopes for an early revival of an independent Ukraine soon faded.
