Readers are offered a unique book of notes by Russian correspondent Dmitry Yanchevetsky (1873-1938), an eyewitness to the events of the Iheituana (boxing uprising) in China in 1900-1901. The author vividly and emotionally describes the military actions of the Russian and Allied troops, who rescued the Europeans from the hotbed of the uprising boxers.
