Dr. Alexander Pyzhikov presents Vladimir Stasov's forgotten work "The Origin of Russian Wereins," published in 1868. In the second half of the nineteenth century, this devastating composition became a swarm of cold water splashed out on all those who stubbornly supported the national-Christian fictions. This work not only made a notable contribution to the national folklore, but also became the starting point of Russian Eurasianism, which many today do not even know. It examines the extensive material of various peoples of Europe and Asia. The main idea: the revealed commonality of the plots reflects not just similar event zigzags, poetic techniques, but expresses the depth of the worldview of the peoples of a bygone era. Inherent in antiquity, it is far from both the standards of European enlightenment and confessional trends.
