Narkom Frunze - Gromov A.B.

Frunze had the charisma of a commander, able to lead the army, great personal courage and determination. He was often in the thick of the battle, leading the fighting order. However, he was also a talented organizer and political leader, who was able to establish the work of headquarters and rear in extraordinary conditions. Frunze's biography also includes a chronicle of the first peaceful years of the Soviet state, when the next generation of military commanders replaced the desperate and reckless red commanders, meeting the new tasks of the Soviet regime and the Red Army. This time preceded the Stalin era and in many ways laid its foundation.
