This book is not another attempt at myths or exposing historical truth. This is an attempt to understand one of the most complex and complicated stories of the last century - the death of Polish officers in Katyn. How, when, by whom and under what circumstances they were destroyed (called figures from 3 to 22 thousand people)? Today we have two versions of the same crime. The first was done by the Germans in the autumn of 1941. The second - the officers were shot by the NKVD in the spring of 1940?. Both versions are supported by a huge amount of evidence, documents and testimony. The authors of the book try to put an end to the Katyn case, using as evidence not emotions, not political intrigues, but only facts.
