Kartiny Italii - Dikkens Charl'z

Dickens's Italian essays were first published in the London Daily News (late January - March 1846). They were called on the pages of the newspaper "Letters of the Traveler from the Road" and were signed by the pseudonym Boz. A few months later, a separate edition was published with the changed name "Pictures of Italy." In the same 1846, Dickens's essays were translated into many European languages, including Russian. There were no other Russian translations, except for a small passage printed in the Journal of Military Educational Institutions.
