Les Mifago. Lavondiss - Kholdstok Robert

In an attempt to solve the mystery of the life of his deceased father George Huxley, brothers Christian and Stephen go to Rayhope Forest, one of the last parts of the primitive forest that once covered the whole of Britain.

Rayhope is a mysterious place, it is much bigger inside than outside. It is inhabited by "mifago" - living embodiments of myths and legends generated by the collective unconscious of humanity. The heart of the Forest is Lavondiss and it aspires to Tallis Keaton, following the trail of primitive magic.
