Prikliucheniia Murzilki i malen'kikh chelovechkov - Palmer Koks

Many dads, moms and children know the cheerful children's magazine "Murzilka." But not everyone knows that Murzilka has no less well-known and funny prototype, and a long time ago - since the end of the 19th century! It was then that the Canadian cartoonist and writer Palmer Cox drew pictures and composed stories about the adventures of forest men, relatives of brownies and elves. Among the cheerful people were Nozyka and Neznachik, artist Mazilka and Dr. Tubek-Maz, Chinese Chi-ka-chi and Karapuzik. But the most naughty, poor and boastful was Murzilka. He was constantly getting caught up with the stories he was telling his friends about afterwards. What only forest men did not see and did not experience, going on a long journey: skated and built boats, rode on the back of a whale and a big elephant, caught bees and even performed in a circus!
