Elena Ilyina is the pseudonym of Leah Yakovlevna Marshak, sister of Samuel Marshak. Her pen owns many stories, poems and fairy tales for young and middle-aged children, but her most famous work is the novella "Fourth Height" (1945) about Gul a King, her childhood, youth and feat during World War II. Gulya (Marionella) Korolev as a child, even before the war, played several roles in the movie, and for one of them received a ticket to Artek. But to study after school went not to the theater institute, and to the institute of reclamation to bring real benefit to their people. However, she could not work in the specialty: the war began, and she became a sanitary instructor, pulled out from under fire about a hundred fighters. Gulya died in 1942, when she was only twenty years old. The book "Fourth Heights" is a real monument to an ordinary Soviet schoolgirl who gave her life for the Motherland.
