Yuri Tynyanov (1894-1943) was a well-known Russian writer, playwright, literary critic and literary critic. The origins of Tynyanov's literary work lie in the sphere of his scientific interests. The second volume of the collection included the novel "Death of Wazir Mukhtar" and the novel "The Wax Person". The novel "Death of Wazir Mukhtar" tells about the last year of the life of a remarkable poet and diplomat, author of the brilliant comedy "Woe from the Mind" Alexander Griboedov and his tragic death in Persia, where he was sent as an ambassador. The novel "The Wax Person" describes the last days of the life of the Russian emperor Peter the First. The third volume of the collection included the unfinished novel "Pushkin" - the central work in the artistic heritage of the writer and the work of his life. The novel tells about childhood, adolescence and youth classics of Russian poetry. The author managed not only to capture the living image of the poet himself, but also to recreate the atmosphere of his family, the Lyceum, the characteristic features of literary and artistic life of the first decades of the 19th century.
