Yuri Tynyanov (1894-1943) was a well-known Russian writer, playwright, literary critic and literary critic. The origins of Tynyanov's literary work lie in the sphere of his scientific interests. Being a talented literary scientist, he devoted himself to scrupulous study of the theory of poetry, revealing almost mathematical laws in the works of Pushkin, Tyutchev, Heine and other prominent poets. His research was closely related to the archives of writers and their contemporaries, accumulated rich historical material combined with the talent of the narrator resulted in the creation of a number of historical novels, conveying a living sense of the described era.
The third volume of the collection included the unfinished novel "Pushkin" - the central work in the artistic heritage of the writer and the work of his life. The novel tells about childhood, adolescence and youth classics of Russian poetry. The author managed not only to capture the living image of the poet himself, but also to recreate the atmosphere of his family, the Lyceum, the characteristic features of literary and artistic life of the first decades of the 19th century.
