Valery Somov (1941-2003) - literary critic, linguist, lexicographer, author of original, extremely interesting and useful dictionaries: "Poetic allegiances of Pushkin," "The Dictionary of Rare and Forgotten Words," "Latin by the way," "Lawyer on a Note" and many others.
Unpublished during the author's life remained the dictionary "Poetic Geography" based on the extensive material of Russian poetry, attracting historical, mythological, biblical and literary-fabulous place names, in it used.
The dictionary contains more than 500 dictionary units - place-payments found in Russian poetry of the 18th and 20th centuries, but relatively rarely used today. The dictionary is equipped with a variety of pointers, a brief bibliography and other reference material.
