The Marshal of the Soviet Union, Clement Voroshilov, left a mixed mark on the history of our country. This is undoubtedly a complex, extraordinary and at the same time contradictory personality. Voroshilov is still judged in different ways: some call him a loyal friend of Stalin, the first red officer, a fighter for the strengthening of the RCKA, a commander of the people; others - Stalin's "groom", squire of the formidable "father of nations", executioner of the Red Army, a talentless warlord, cunning fitter, because under all the rulers of the Soviet Union - Stalin, Khrushchev, Brezhnev - Voroshilov was in honor.
The author of the book, the writer Nikolai Velikanov, tries to find an explanation for the phenomenon of the first Marshal of the Soviet Union.
