Heikki Lahelma has played a very large and highly positive role in the development of cultural relations between Russia and Finland in the last thirty years. Destiny wanted the graduate of the business college to become one of the leading Finnish organizers of numerous scientific and educational and artistic exhibitions together with scientists of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR and Russia, specialists of the best museums in Moscow, Leningrad-St. Petersburg, Kiev, Yerevan and other cities of our country. This mobile activity was so successful only thanks to friendly work with many wonderful people with whom Heikki Lahelma brought his life: Andrei Kapitsa, Ilya Glazunov, Irina Rodimtseva, Yuri Kuklachev and many others. This book tells the story of meetings with them, about friendship, about work and life of Finns in Moscow, about difficult personal vicissitudes, which were closely intertwined with dramatic events in the history of the USSR/Russia and Finland. It is written with great kindness to our country and frankness, with warm humor. The author shares his observations on life in the USSR and Russia, which many of us may seem unexpected, but will certainly be interesting and useful. The book is equipped with photo illustrations.
