Razgrom Denikina - Egorov Aleksandr Il'ich

A.I. Yegorov's memoirs tell about a turning point in the history of the Russian Civil War - 1919. The author, being in senior positions in the Peasant Workers' Red Army, was a direct participant in the battles on the Southern Front. His book, which was first published in 1931, gave a loud name, on its pages there was a place for all the leaders of the Soviet Union. However, neither acquaintance with Stalin, nor joint service with Budenny, Voroshilov and Shaposhnikov did not save marshal of the Soviet Union Yegorov from repression - on February 23, 1939, the talented Soviet warlord was executed.
