The first volume is based on correspondence between Lilia Yuryevna and Osip Maximovich Brick (289 letters and telegrams in total) 1930-1937, when Lila Yuryevna, after the death of Vladimir Mayakovsky, was married to a Civil War hero, the legendary Commander of the Black Cossacks, Vitaly Markovich Primakov and traveled with him to the cities where he served: Sverdlovsk, Rostov-on-Don, Berlin, Leningrad. The publication uses unique materials from public and private archives, from rare editions.

The second volume is based on correspondence between Lilia Yuryevna and Osip Maximovich Brick (99 letters and telegrams in total) 1938-1945: from the tragic death of her husband L.Y. Brick, The Comkor V.M. Primakov, to the death of O.M. Brick. Unique materials from public and private archives, from rare editions were used.
