Gastrol'nye zametki - Demidova Alla

This book was written by letters to Tom Butler, a professor at Harvard University, a correspondence with which the actress Alla Demidova conducted from 1990 to 2007. Accidental acquaintance led to interesting communication, and then to the creation of a book.
A. Demidova's letters contained a description of trips and tours, theatrical productions, as well as a story about the people with whom she was brought with fate. Among them are Sergei Yursky, Yuri Lyubimov, Roman Viktyuk, Antoine Vitez, Theodoros Terzopoulos, Larissa Shepitko, Sergey Parajanov. Letters alternate with extracts from the diaries of the actress or small "remark" where in more detail reveal certain events, as well as enlarge portraits of contemporaries.
The book faithfully reflected the various layers of time and culture in Russia and abroad.
