"The Ethics of Dust" (1866) is a treatise of the British art critic, writer and social thinker John Ruskin, in the form of Plato dialogues of an old professor and a student. This unusual text serves as a kind of introduction to the problem of crystallization, the structural form inherent in the subject world surrounding us and contains Ryoskin's thoughts on the education system, the development of European fine art and design and place man in the world. The book was written on the heels of lectures in Oxford, Bradford and Manchester in the 1860s.
