Oleg Demidov (b. 1989) - poet, critic, literary critic, lecturer of lyceum research institute of higher education. For many years he has been researching the life and work of Anatoly Marienof and other engineers. Compiler and commentator of collections of works by Anatoly Marienof (2013) and Ivan Gruzinov (2016).
Anatoly Marienof (1897 - 1962) - one of the brightest modernist writers, a close friend of Sergei Yesenin and the author of scandalous memoirs about him - "A novel without lies." For the cult novels "Cynics" (1928) and "The Brit Man" (1930), published in the West, he was subjected to crushing criticism and was forced to withdraw from great literature - in dramaturgy ("Shut Balakirev"); the book of memoirs "My Age, My Youth, My Friends and Friends" became a landmark for Russian prose of the 20th century.
"The First Dandy of the Soviet Union" is the most complete biography of the writer, where many myths are dispelled, previously unknown archival materials, letters and photographs are published, as well as living testimonies of people who knew Marienof.
