Emilio Salgari (1862-1911) was a famous writer whom contemporaries called "Italian Jules Verne" who created about two hundred novels and short stories. Among these many works, sparkling with bright imagination and exciting plots, the most popular were two pirate cycles of Salgary: "Antilles Pirates", about the adventures of Black Corsar and his loyal followers, as well as a series of novels under the general name "Pirates of Malaysia", about the noble robber Sandokan. This edition includes three novels, which continue the fascinating adventures of Sandokan on the shores of the southern seas: "Two Tigers", "Lord of the Seas" and "Conquest of the Empire" (for the first time on Russian!). The works are accompanied by a full set of illustrations by the famous Italian artist Alberto della Valle.
