В настоящий том вошли произведения Эмили (1818–1848) и Энн (1820–1849) Бронте. Перу первой из них принадлежит роман «Грозовой перевал», признанный одним из наиболее ярких явлений англоязычной литературы XIX века. Энн Бронте более всего известна историей девушки-гувернантки, живущей в чужом враждебном семействе — «Агнес Грей».

This volume includes works by Emily (1818-1848) and Anne (1820-1849) Bronte. Peru is the first of them to be the novel Wuthering Heights, recognized as one of the most striking phenomena of English-language literature of the 19th century. Anne Bronte is best known for the story of a governess who lives in someone else's hostile family, Agnes Grey.
The work of their older sister, Charlotte Bronte, famous for the novel "Jane Eyre", is devoted to a separate volume of "Small collection of works."
